    RHi are looking for Quantity Surveyors to join their team based in Okpo, South Korea on a project for a major Operator in Kazakhstan.



    Main duties to include:

    • Review, negotiation and agreement of IFC measurement packages with Subcontractor in discussion with RHi Lead Quantity Surveyor. Review and agreement of any proposed revisions/corrections to quantities or methods of measurement by the Subcontractor.
    • Measurement of Work insufficiently dimensioned to allow detailed measurement from drawings (site run). Site run measurement to be jointly undertaken with Subcontractor.
    • As-built re-measurement and measurement of Work designed at Site.
    • Assist with module by module cost forecasts for measured Work and variance analysis.
    • Assist with negotiation and agreement of Star Rates.
    • Module by module progress verification to allow agreement of the value of measured work completed each cut off period to allow the Subcontractor to submit interim invoices. Physical on site verification of Work performed. Work closely with Client’s Field Engineering.
    • Time Rates – Review, agreement and tracking of time related costs including Dayworks for construction labour and equipment (Change Order only).
    • Payment application verification
    • Liaise with Client Team in UK
    • Assist Lead QS with all QS Service issues.


    Allied occasional duties

    • Assist with Subcontract administration.

    Ideally degree qualified or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying or similar technical qualification.

    Ability to demonstrate experience in Site based Quantity Surveying.

    Intermediate level of English - written and verbal required as a minimum

    Ability to deal with multicultural teams
