    RHi is currently seeking a Process Safety Management of Change Coordinator for our client in Calgary, a major oil & gas operator, for a 1 year contract position. 

    Management of Change Coordination – To ensure that all changes are recognized, documented, formally reviewed, and approved prior to implementation in order to avoid potential safety or operational problems and to comply with federal and provincial regulations.

    Process Safety Metric Management – Work closely with Process Safety Engineers to develop and maintain the Process Safety Dashboard and issue monthly Process Safety reports to the business.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate the Engineering modification change process and to monitor the Management of Change (MOC) process from initiation to completion and ensure changes comply with the organization’s procedures.
    • Ensure that the MOC Process is effective and efficient and delivers the desired results of ensuring the changes are managed properly.
    • Support day-to-day Calgary and Field Staff with Management of Change process queries
    • Facilitate and participate in various regular MOC status and system health meetings. (i.e. monthly meetings with senior management, bi-weekly execution status review meetings, bi-weekly proposed change review meetings with engineering and operations, etc)
    • Contribute to the Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence of the MOC process.
    • Participate in corporate audits and assist with clearing non-conformances.
    • Provide training and support with regard to the MOC process.
    • Provide training and support in utilizing Spotfire and Live Link to complete MOC related activities.
    • Work closely with Facilities Engineers (Calgary & field), Operations, Project Coordinators, Maintenance Leads, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Electrical Planning, and construction on MOC process for projects as a result of a change request.
    • Maintain and report MOC and Process Safety key performance indicators.
    • Track safety critical MOC’s as a priority and ‘time in status’ for all MOC’s.
    • Track and report on temporary MOC’s to ensure compliance with the process (i.e. ensure overdue temporary MOC’s are minimized and addressed).
    • Assist with management of the Site Revalidation HAZOP study open action list
    • Support and comply with the policies, goals, efforts, and Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System programs. Ensure HSE issues are given primary consideration in all activities undertaken within area of responsibility. Unsafe acts and/or conditions, no matter in what area of responsibility, are to be reported so corrective actions can be taken.
    • Maintain and manage MOC and Barrier Health Dashboards, working closely with IT and stakeholders to further develop, enhance and refine the Spotfire dashboards
    • Some travel to site (northern BC & northern Alberta) may be required for this role

    Qualifications

    • 5 years Operations and/or Facility Maintenance experience.
    • Technical diploma or journeyman certification required.
    • Previous experience with MOC coordination would be an asset.

    • Computerized Maintenance Management System experience
    • Ability to learn terminology, applications and standard procedures for performing the job function.
    • Provide technical and /or administrative support, making decisions within broad parameters
